Who we are
Policy Panda Research creates meaningful research that is simple and easy to understand. We believe that too much great research sits behind a paywall, or is too complicated for decision makers to understand. We want to change that!
Julie has worked across community engagement and policy roles in the third sector in Scotland. This includes expertise within community participation in research, policy divergence as a result of devolution, the impact of funding intervention, and broad social policy areas such as housing, human rights and poverty.
Julie holds an MSc in Social Policy with Research Methods (Distinction) from the University of Strathclyde. She also has a BMus from the University of Edinburgh and frequently draws on her previous life as a musician in utilising creative research methods.
At Policy Panda Research we also work alongside specialists to ensure that each research project is of the highest quality.
